Do you think more about God’s presence in your life or God’s plan for your life? We like plans because plans map out the whole journey and tell you exactly what you need. But plans change.
When Moses is asked to lead the people of Israel through the wilderness, he wants God to give him the whole plan. How will you do this, God? God replies, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then Moses said to Him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” Exodus 33:14-15.
God’s presence is the only thing constant. That’s why Moses had so much peace. He was never promised a plan, but God’s presence was enough.
