In Mark 5, a woman who had been suffering for years with a medical condition pushes through a crowd just to barely touch the edge of Jesus’ cloak. She didn’t think a huge act of faith would make a difference. Maybe this was all that she had the energy to do. One small movement. One touch.
Jesus stops and says, “Who touched my clothes?” The woman came forward, and then he said, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” (Mark 5:30,34)
