The Outreach and Pastoral Care Director position will lead ministry outreach efforts, create brand messaging, write spiritual content and resources, and will provide spiritual guidance for listeners and donors.
The Outreach and Pastoral Care Director position will lead ministry outreach efforts, create brand messaging, write spiritual content and resources, and will provide spiritual guidance for listeners and donors.
The Outreach and Pastoral Care Director reports directly to the General Manager.
Core Responsibilities
Ministry Outreach Initiatives
- Develop relationships with churches, pastors and worship leaders
- Manage partnerships with outreach partners and ministries
- Oversee and build creative strategies for outreach projects and events
- Speak into brand and missional concepts for WorshipOne
Brand Messaging
- Speak into core brand messaging for WorshipOne
- Create and wordsmith messaging for WorshipOne fundraisers
Spiritual Content & Resources
- Create spiritual content for WorshipOne
- Manage Help and Hope resources and communication for pastors and counselors
- Oversee content for ministry spiritual resources for The Joy Store and websites
Spiritual Guidance for Listeners and Donors
- Respond to prayer requests that need deeper attention, care and response
- Provide care and spiritual resources for major donors
Qualifications and Experience
- Has a genuine love for the Lord and other people that is exhibited through an authentic, transparent, Christ-centered lifestyle
- Attends church and is committed to the mission of our ministry
- Proven ability to connect and build relationships
- Pastoral care experience preferred
- Strong writing and communication skills
- A collaborative, innovative mindset with a heart for ministry
- Self-starter and able to prioritize work
- Works independently
