Life has a way of making small things seem really big. The fear gets louder than reality. The obstacle feels impossible to overcome. The problem must be bigger than any solution. What do we do when we find ourselves overwhelmed? Psalm 95:6 invites us to “bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”
Worship doesn’t make God any bigger than He already is. Worship helps us remember who He is.
The Maker of the mountains, oceans, and stars is who we get to worship because He is your Maker, too. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop staring at your problem and start worshiping God.
We invite you, if you’re able, to literally kneel when you’re worshipping or reading your Bible. There’s nothing magical about this, but think of it like an outward expression of what’s happening in your heart. Your worship is putting God back in His rightful place.
