Have you ever made a promise you knew you would break? You’ve probably been let down by someone else not keeping their promise to you. Sometimes circumstances change. They overpromise. Or sometimes they just aren’t telling you the truth. This is what makes trust so difficult.
Titus 1:2 describes God with four simple words: “God, who does not lie.”
God has never exaggerated, manipulated, or made a promise He couldn’t keep. There is no gap between what God says and who God is. This is one of the reasons why you can trust God more than anyone else.
When Scripture says that God loves you, He does.
When Jesus says His grace is available to you, it is.
When God says He’s going to make all things new, He will.
You can build your life on God who doesn’t lie.
