Hope can feel fragile or almost nonexistent when life gets disappointing. And life disappoints, doesn’t it?
Christian hope is not wishful thinking. 1 Peter 1:3 says, “He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
It’s not Easter, but it’s good to remind ourselves often: Hope is alive because Jesus is alive. Don’t bury hope because Jesus is risen. If you’re longing for a little more hope, we are too. Pray this prayer with us:
