Imagine being on the threshold of comfort and the unknown. You’re confident that God is leading you somewhere, but you’re at the edge of what you know and where He wants you to go. This is where the people of God find themselves in the book of Joshua.
God said, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” At the edge of something new and rightfully scary, God didn’t instruct His people to “be smart” or “be the best.” Simply: be strong and courageous.
What are you on the edge of right now? A project, conversation, or transition? Is God leading you somewhere? You can be strong and courageous, taking any step of faith knowing you aren’t going there alone.
