Where do you go when you need encouragement? And when you look for encouragement, do you need a lot of it or a little? Sometimes we wear ourselves down or go so long without encouragement that when we look for it, we need a lot of it.
But encouragement doesn’t always come in big, dramatic ways. Sometimes it’s a simple conversation. A text message. Or a small moment where someone shows up when you weren’t expecting them to.
In Acts 28, Paul was traveling towards Rome and ran into a few believers along the way. “At the sight of these people, Paul thanked God and was encouraged.” God used people to strengthen Paul in a pretty mundane moment. He still does this today.
Think about this One Thought: Encouragement through other people is one of the ways God reminds you that you’re not alone. If you’re needing encouragement, maybe it will come from the people around you. Pray for this kind of encouragement with us today:
