Some things in life don’t break all at once. They slowly wear down. And no, we’re not just talking about water heaters, shingles, or anything else around your house that might be due for repair. 

Dreams. Relationships. Confidence. Hope. These wear down over time, and before you know it, they may feel completely broken. 

Thankfully, God is not intimidated by ruined places. This is a promise about God’s people: They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. (Isaiah 61:4)
